Is there any way to read a dvd formatted as an ISO 9660 with the Apple dvd player other than pressing the option-command-i keys while inserting the dvd?

Which by the way is'nt working...

Use VLC or XinePlayer. Apple DVD Player is the word DVD Player available on the Mac platform.

Try VLC or XinePlayer if DVD Player doesn't work. DVDs usually use the UDF file system and ISO 9660 is pretty rare, that may be why DVD Player doesn't support it.

VLC and XinePlayer support more formats/file systems, that's why I suggested you try them.

Oh...I tried xine and it didn't work...but i went back to check out how the dvd's were made and I was using ISO 9660 level 2...so I tried using UDF and for some reason that didn't work either...it's not the apple dvd player that's the problem it's the settings on the dvd duplicator i use...so I tried changing it to UDF and it didn't work. is there any site I can go to that has info on the settings I should be using so that my dvd copies will work on macs as well as regular dvd players?
