Tiling multiple photos on desktop background
Hi
Pardon me if this has been addressed before; if it has, I have been unable to find it, hence this question.
I have a few photos in my iPhoto library that I would like to use as my desktop background. However, instead of the picture changing every n seconds, I would like then all to be displayed at the same time in a tiled fashion.
Is there any way I can do this?
Thanks and cheers

Photoshop? No, seriously, I'm clueless.
You could fake it by laying out the photoes on your desktop and taking a screen grab of them...

Like I said, I don't think this can be done, save maybe with the use of some third party software.

F12? What does F12 do? I tried it and nothing happened! (Pardon me, though I have used Mac for a year I am still a dumb newbie
Rotates video 90º.
No, it invokes the Expose "show all open windows at once, tiled onto the existing screen real estate" functionality.
If you're not using Expose, you must start.

Addabox, I use Expose a great deal and love it. The function you mention seems to be the one invoked by F9, not by F12. F12 does nothing
Cheers
Oh yeah, you can remap the Expose commands from its preferences pane; I just have mine moved around from default, which I had forgotten.

Ah, OK

F12 is usually for Dashboard, the widget utility in Mac OS X Tiger.
Ah, OK. I think I will skip one cat generation and go straight to Leopard from Panther
