CONVERTING MAC PS FONTS TO PC TT AND PS

...anybody know of a foolproof shareware solution to converting a couple of fonts from Mac PS to PC PS and TT?

    Font Doctor X from Morrison SoftDesign is the closest thing I can think of. It's not shareware per se, but you can download it rather than going the packaged route and it integrates well with Extensis Suitcase. Also does a nice job of trouble-shooting fonts (in much the same fashion that Drive X trouble-shoots drives, interface-wise).



    Also allows you to make the following conversions:



    Mac TT to Windows TT and vice-versa

    DataFork Font to Mac Suitcase and vice-versa



    There are two other products from this company that deal with font management, but which are being carbonized I think. One of those may contain more conversion options than FDX. Hope this helps some.

    Try Fondu (http://fondu.sourceforge.net/). It's free, and it works.
