iTunes and Sym links
Ok, I am having a problem. I don't want to move my entire iTunes library on to an external hard drive just certain folders inside that contain a lot of TV shows. So I figured I could move this folder to my external hard drive and create a sym link to this folder and placing it in the iTunes library folder.
But apparently iTunes doesn't like this and keeps refusing to follow the sym links I am creating only when adding material. It will follow the link if I am simply playing a video.
Has anyone else tried something like this and got it to work?
