MS Office on Intel Mini: Sometimes Office isn't saving my changes

When I am working in Excel on my Core Duo Intel Mini I save my docuements and then close them. I have never once had a problem until I purchased my new Intel Mini. At first I thought I was not saving my docuements upon exiting (you know how you can choose to save them or cancel up exiting). Then I started to get really annoyed because it kept happening.

I have the latest updates for Office installed and no changes in performance when saving. It just happened again and I know I saved that document before closeing it.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems with Excel or Office on a Intel Mac?
