Where can you download IE X?
Who's bright idea was it to make Internet Explorer available exclusively through Software Update? I accidentally deleted it a few weeks ago thinking I wouldn't need it anymore now that I had Chimera and OmniWeb, but now I realize I need a browser with decent Java support (Chimera lacks it, OmniWeb always crashes). And since I deleted IE, Software Update doesn't recognize it anymore.
So where on earth can you get plain old IE X 5.1.4 if you don't have it on your system?

Your welcome.
I also did this in the past and had to re-install it off the system disc I wish I could give you a better answer, but I don't have one.
I have to laugh at someone saying why did you toss it...the better question is why isn't it downloadable?
Have fun and be sure to thank Microsoft for the easy fix
