iBook G4 battery issue

Does anyone happen to know how irregular it is for a battery to lose 6% of its capacity after 13 loadcycles? That's what's happened on my 2 month old 14" iBook. Resetting the PMU didn't seem to change anything. Doing the math, it's working out to losing just under 20 mAh per loadcycle. Seems a little much to me...any ideas?

My PowerBook lost 5% of its capacity in the first twenty or so load cycles. It's stayed constant since then. It's now on the 37th cycle.

When the battery warning 'Your machine is running on reserve power' turn your iBook off rather than let it sleep. Sleep still uses some energy and running the battery completely down appeared to be the cause of my missing 5%.

All right, I'll wait it out and see if it continues to go down at this rate. Thanks for the bit of reassurance. I usually don't let the battery discharge, so the reserve power thing isn't really an issue. But maybe that's the problem...it's plugged in sitting with a full charge much more often than not.
