Video Card Not Working

I have a PowerMac G3 and I have a Diamond Stealth Ati Radeon 9250 256mb ram pci video card, running Mac OS X Tiger, when I boot up the machine with the card in it it doesn't work. Any Help Greatly Appreciated!!!!

Is this a second video card in the system? Is the video card mac compatiable? Does the primary adapter work?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say its a beige G3 isn't it.
Those often have problems with ATI cards and OS X. There was a patch a long time ago, but I forget the details.

Sounds like you're using a Windows-only video card...buy the Radeon 9200 Mac Edition, or go to xlr8yourmac.com and try to flash the one you have.

I had to do that when I added a second video card to my Beige G3. It really wasn't all that difficult.
