Monitor connection BNC x5 (Nokia446Xpro)
I currently have two 17" CRT monitors on my desk (one for the mac one for the PC). I can get a 19" CRT for free that has both a VGA and a 5x BNC connector as well as a source switch in the front
1x19" is much less deskspace than 2x 17"...
The snag is that the BNC connectors are unlabeled, with 5 connectors and 5 plugs there are many many combinations to try out by trial and error. Is there a standard for this?

While there is no strict standard, it definitely will be some combination of RGB (corresponding cable colors) and V and H sync (black and white cables), with the members of the groups always together. So, the possibilities are:
RGBHV (most likely) RGBVH HVRGB VHRGB
There is a slight possibility that the RGB inputs might be reversed to BGR (meaning four more possibilities), but they will never be something like GRB or RBG, and the H and V sync inputs will never be mixed among them.
Now I can build those small transmissionline speakers and have them on the desk as speakers instead of those dinky plastic boxes I have now. With one TFT replacing two 17" CRT there will be deskspace 8)
