Is Corel Painter written for multiple processors?

Got a job that needs to go out last week and involves pretty large scale images and I wanted to know if I should shoot for a grabbing a quick quad or dual G5 for the duration of the project. I'm figuring something in the realm of 4 gigs of RAM either way. My poor little iMac G5 is way out of its leageue on this one.



Any help is greatly appreciated.
