Any predictions on when the next shuffle will turn up? What about features & price?

The changes could be similar to those that the iPod mini underwent around the same time last year. MINOR design changes and minor storage increases.

It'll get a little cheaper and eventually disappear altogether, as the nano becomes even cheaper.

I hope not. The current design of the shuffle is perfect for running: the controls are in the best location for control by a thumb and no distracting screen. I've tried working out/running with my nano and had to stop. It just isn't functional in that way, imo.

Agreed, I like the shuffle much better than my former iPod Mini, in fact I think it beats the Nano, too. The weight, size, elegance, feel and PRICE, make the iPod Shuffle ideal for running or mixing your tunes in your car. Plus it's pretty much scratch resistant.

I'll change my mind when you can buy a Nano for $69
