I know we all love to see the new stuff, and seeing them out of the box is different from Apple's website. I would love to see some pics! Thanks Comments Reply 1 of 12 placebo Posts: 5,767member March 25, 2006 5:59PM I may not have a Macbook Pro or pictures of one, but I do have a picture of an F/A-18 breaking the sound barrier.Enjoy. That's a MacBook Pro at full speed! It's very fast! Reply 3 of 12 placebo Posts: 5,767member March 25, 2006 7:33PM Apple should use it as a metaphor for Powerbook vs. Macbook Pro booting speed. Or it could be like a switch commercial in the style of those old Car A versus Car B commercials:"Fighter Alpha is still using a Dell, but Fighter Bravo is using a spankin' new Macbook Pro!" It's a really small download (132 KB if I recall) and won't take more than a second. I'd appreciate it! It's AJAX based and I don't expect any issues.Meanwhile, you should get a wireless Logitech mouse, like the MX-1000. Your setup would appreciate losing any wires it can.Congrats on the new machine!
