Hi folks. I have OSX 10.3.9 installed on an older emac (700mhz) and it doesn't have classic OS9 installed. It has plenty of RAM - 640.

I would like to install classic OS9 so that I can use the computer for my daughter and all the fun toddler games (that are several years old) require OS9 and will not run on the newer OSX.

I have tons of install CDs for all my macs (new ibook, emac 700, G5 imac etc) - but I have on idea which one will work for my emac.

Here is the only disk I have that mentions OS9 completely. Do all the other start up disks that I got with the computers have classic on them somewhere?

I HAVE:

-Mac OS9 Featuring SHerlock 2 - it's version 9.2.1 and just has the old school Mac sybmol. I am assuming this one would do the trick.

Please advise on how to do a clean install - or just how to add classic OS.

I don't care if Tiger, Panther or Jaguar is on the comuter. It will be strictly used for my daughter, but ideallly it would be nice to have to OS working (Jaq & Classic).

You need to install Classic from your eMac's System Restore disk.
