director (mx?) for os x ?

one macromedia app i havnt heard anything of on the osx front is director, anyone have any info?

    basically it says sotime next year... as for now, Director in OSX works; its just called "Classic"

    Director is coming for OS X. The makers of AlamDV rely heavily on it and have stated that they are on the developer build list and are working with Macromedia so that AlamDV2 for OS X can come as soon as possible.

    I am so confused. I cant figure out if Director id classic compatible right now or not. Can someone who uses this app please clarify? I am helping out with an OS X transition, so this is one of the things that I need to know. Thanks so much.
