GHz rounding?

I pose a question for all those that purport knowledge of Apple's marketing ways.

Say Apple releases a G4 clocked at circa-1266.66MHz (theoritically). How will Apple market it?

1266Mhz

1267Mhz

1.266Ghz

1.267Ghz

1.27Ghz

-or-

1.3Ghz ?

The same scenario applies to a G4 clocked at 1133.33Mhz.

I don't give a damn how they market it, as long as they don't call it G4 2000+ or something.

Well then I guess you do give a damn.

I would hope they stay accurate and go with 1.27GHz...

    Probably 1.3 GHz.

But let's be careful not to put the cart in front of the horse. Or, as the Wolf said in Pulp Fiction, "Let's not start suckin' each other's dicks just yet".

There are no 1.266 GHz Powermacs in existence as far as we know.

And if Apple releases such a Mac, I'll be too busy beating off over it to give a rat's ass how the hell they round off the clockspeed rating.

1133MHz rounds down to 1.1GHz if they market 1266MHz as 1.3GHz?

Like Kawasaki Motorcycles, their Ninja 1000R was nine hundred plus c.c.'s They will round it off.

So, 1.0 GHz,1.2 GHz & 1.4 Ghz?Could it be the Apollo chip with G-5 technology?Or is the Apollo low energy consumption and for the Ti LapTops?

So, if they dont deliver a good enough product

upgrade the ram in your system and the latest O/S

-X. Get into guns...like <a href="http://www.hkpro.com"; target="_blank">www.hkpro.com</a> The USP is truly incredible and their rifles too.Wait until the later half of 2002 to purchase a new apple computer. In six months the prices drop radically.

Plus they will probably have upgraded hardware by then.Plus, a more robust operating system.Nothing less than O/S-X 10.2 Any more patches and it will come with papers like the cabbage patch dolls.

I took a quick look around the web and it seems intel labels it's Celerons in MHz and it's P4s in GHz. When labeling the P4s it rounds to hundreths.

So, 1.27GHz seems good for comparison.
