Wireless Reception on PowerBook Sucks!

So I got a 12 inch PowerBook probably 6 months ago. My sister got a 12 iBook around the same time. Now we are in the same apartment and she can connect to a wireless network and have full strength with her iBook, and my PowerBook gives me tells me there is an error when I try to connect. It's infuriating since I sent probably $500 more and I cant even get on the Internet.



Any suggestions on ways to improve Internet reception? Any idea why it says "there is an error trying to join _____ network" while my sister's iBook connects without a problem?



advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

    If there's an error, it's probably a problem with your settings rather than your reception. Perhaps your sister has correctly configured her laptop.



    Your post doesn't mention what kind of network you're trying to log onto, nor what steps you've taken in trying to connect.



    This would be useful info in trying to help troubleshoot your problem.
