G5 Powermac - Recording Stereo Audio

Heyas. I have a mixer, with standard guitar lead outs. Is there a way I can record stereo, via the 'audio in' jack of my g5pm? Basically without buying an external soundcard.

Sure it's easy to record mono - lead -> 3/4 inch plug -> then into computer. Though have had no luck getting stereo happening. (2 leads -> convert into single 3/4 inch plug -> into computer)

cheers.

[edit] - Think am just going to have to get a cable made up. Sorry for spaming this board.

I'm hoping you mean 1/4 inch plugs...

All you need is to buy an adapter...or make your own.

Two 1/4 female to a 1/8" stereo male into the input of the Mac.

Or use the above device into an iMic made by Griffin...then use the USB port.
