indestructible ipod shuffle

well my ipod shuffle went through the washer and dryer in the pocket of my shorts after a hiking trip...the next day i turned it on and works fine, including my sony headphones. most excellent. I'm sure its because its flash based that it was able to withstand the heat, water and bounce.



Anyway, I don't plan on a regular washing of my shuffle and I expect I was very lucky but it did survive and sounds just as good as before. Music isn't any cleaner but so it goes..

    This is the very reason for why I admire the shuffle as much as I do. As a runner, the shuffle is great. Apple obviously didn't make the shuffle to impress people with features. They made the shuffle to make music exteremly portable. This is what most people didn't get when it came out and they started critisizing it.
