    I have noticed the same problem with IE also, along with several other applications. I have tried all sorts of things to resolve it, and finally, I wrote her back to complain. It is amazing what a little support from good friends can do for you. Another updated Silk version has been released for us! These guys are great, responsive and fast, for people like me who want results now. The new new version for SIlk is at:
