Hi,

Has anyone else installed:

MacBook Pro (early 2006) Firmware Update 1.0.1

and noticed any difference?

My 2.0/7200/1gig seems to wake from deep sleep much faster, idle at a lower CPU load, and run cooler around the upper left F-keys esp..

It is not known what the 1.0.1 firmware updates do. Boot Camp functionality was introduced in update 1.0.0.

    As Apple stated:

"It now runs on localized systems that use languages that read right to left."

Looks like this firmware update may correct a sleep issue some people are having with their MacBook's. I saw a post in Apple's discussion forums claiming this update corrected this issue

We have two MacBook Pro's here at the office, and both are unable to wake from long periods of being in sleep mode.

Will be running this update later today.
