I've set up a .nac account to enable me to send and recieve mail into my mac mail. I noticed that if I delete mail from the .mac account webmail it also removes it from my mac mail in box. Is this preventable?

One way you could handle the situation would be to create an "Archives" folder and move messages there when you're don't want to have them in your inbox any longer. They should still be accessible in your desktop mail client (but will be inside the "Archives" folder there, as well).

It's IMAP, so no. It's a "feature" in my book.
