Didn't see another posting about this but it is interesting.

http://www.apple.com/itunes/

Click on the ad that says "which ipod are you" on the top left.

You should see the Hardware/Macbook and an empty page.

    Interesting...

I wonder if this is something apple did on purpose... It certainly makes for a very vague teaser.

It could be. I've looked around on Apple.com and all the "which ipod are you" ads click to this page with the macbook reference. I'll bet that ad gets replaced, and lets hope for VERY soon, like 11am this morning!

The ads now go to apple.com/ipod with the "which iPod are you" landing page.

I don't see it there, I just checked there's no MacBook reference at all. Must be like the iWeb teaser, only a few caught that one\

I caught it - I'm surprised they left it up for as long as they did.

Keep in mind that this doesn't necessarily mean MacBooks next week; what it does mean, though, is that they're probably pulling things together for a launch relatively soon.

Next Tuesday is also when the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album comes out. Remember the RHCP iPod idea? It might be that.

Is it not strange that Apple have yet to issue a press release inviting members of press to 1 Infinite Loop for the unveiling on tuesday? Would Apple release this new and exciting MacBook silently? From these rumors it appears that this is the first MacIntel with a completely redesigned exterior and that should warrant an Apple Event in my book.
