After a recent network failure, I've got a couple of icons on my upper panel (what is it called?) near the volume control. One of them is "Open Internet Connect". How do I delete them?

Easiest way to get rid of them is hold down the option and command keys then drag them off as if they were dock items.

Hold down just the apple key on the keyboard and drag them off the 'menu bar' that's what that's called, cheers
