Leopard preview. You can't release an OS without a developer preview.
Mac Pros with Core 2 (neé Conroe/Woodcrest) sound about right too.
MBP with Merom I expect will come MWSF.

I would add new Cinema Displays, better specs, thinner enclosure and a new larger display 44"+.
noob question here, of the 20, 23 and 30 inch displays, why not make them evenly spaced and bump the 23 to 25? is 23 some magic size that graphics and video pros prefer? or is it based on manufacturing/cost reasons?

That looks exactly right to me.
In addition, I would not be overly surprised if all portables got the Merom (or at the very least the MBPs and the top MB) given the price and the fact that the competition will be putting them to use immediately. They are pin-compatible with the Yonah so few if any mods are needed, and given the prices Apple likes to charge, the Yonah will seem pretty stingy in August vis-a-vis the competition. The days of long chip cycles are over my friends. Apple will adjust to this to keep their brand image afloat as a manufacturer of gold-standard machines. It is very possible that there will be one MB left behind, but I think that is about it.
Finally, I would expect updated displays, and a redesign to better mate them with the new Mac Pros. Flame away at will, but in my opinion the current displays are really showing their age in terms of design.

Right
Right
Wrong: would be very bad for MBP sales.
It's commercial suicide to wait 5 month with shipping the latest greatest.
Apple's christmas buying season numbers will look very sad if they're stuck with a 2.33Ghz max. Yonah Core Duo in the MBP till MWSF07.
So either a WWDC introduction and september shipping or a september-november introduction and shipping.
- Hardcore developer & hacker type geeks descend on SF
- Bar business drops compared to other conventions
- First timers realize 'hey not all of CA is hot in the spring/summer' and wonder why they packed so many pairs of shorts.
- Junk food and restaurant sales show a slight pop
- Moscone filled with hordes of people mindlessly staring at large plasma displays
- People drinking gallons of their caffeine beverages of choice
- People bitching how far down the hall the damn restrooms are
- Groups of people moving from beverage bin to beverage bin looking for the Diet Pepsi cans (and only finding Ice Tea and Lemonade everywhere!)
- People filling their pockets with the candy snacks that are set out in the after noon. (yea I people notice you)
- People saying 'I *should* be going to session X (for work) but session Y looks so much cooler '
Hmmm well that's about it for now... Hey this is what you meant by predictions right? You know the things that ** I KNOW ** will come true.

Those hoping for tablets, plasmas, quads, PC graphics cards, etc., you guys can keep on dreaming and being disappointed.

Mac Pros will be shown, but not orderable just yet. No changes to other hardware. Meroms not until fall. No Woodcrest in Macs; the Mac Pro will be a standard PC minitower, with slightly dressier white plastic, possibly even a standard BTX motherboard (one can hope). Stock with integrated graphics, but a PCI-E slot. Only a few cards will be supported, though.
Ah, finally, the $999 Mac Tower.

Apple will only use the Xeon 5100 (Woodcrest) the Xeon 5000 series is still Netburst and not Core 2 architecture.
It's unlikely that Apple would wait for WWDC to unveil new iMacs or Mac Pros. It is "still" a Developer conference and there has to be some sort of relevance there or you're wasting valuable developer time and money.
I don't think Merom is shipping in time but it's a distinct possiblity. Apple could hype the need for developers to prepare their apps for a 64-bit transition.
Mac mini...nada, a bumb wouldn't barely get a mention. iPods...wrong conference.
WWDC is a Developer conference. If i'm paying $1500 to attend (likely on my companies dime) I'm not there see the next whizbang consumer stuff. I'm there to find out how to make my apps run better and become more full functioned. Yes WWDC has launched new hardware before but in almost every case Apple ties this into a demand for the developers to take advantage of said hardware. PPC 970 required new ways of programming to take advantage and thus it was appropriate to announce at WWDC. iPods, and speed bumps do not require the same effort and should not be announced.
may be we could see many of these bumps well before WWDC...
got it, Core2 not still available
