I need to open some RAR archives created with the Windows RAR program. Could someone tell me if there is a free application that could do this for my iMac?

I have OSX 10.3.9.

gumby is mainly for rar'd video files but I guess it will work the same for general files. I prefer to use the latest official rar tool from:

    http://www.rarlab.com/

That is handy if you ever get a corrupted rar archive because it can recover as much as it's possible to recover from it.

I used this too, but it showed me some errors during decompressing (errors that I haven't saw on the Windows RAR) and that is why I changed the application.
