I cant play a dvd
Hi
I have a powermac g4, 450mhz, 320mb ram. It is connected via VGA to a 17" apple CRT monitor. It is running mac os 9.2.
When a dvd is inserted, the apple dvd program starts but it then says it cannot play becuase of my video card or monitor. It suggests I use a certain resolution and thousands of colours.
I changed the settings to what it said and the dvd still does not play.
I tried by using a different monitor, sill no luck.
Any ideas what is wrong?

You're using OS 9 is the first problem.
The second problem could be your graphics card. What is the make and vram?
