I think the new lawsuit is hurting the stock and the microsoft/MTV music service doesn't help either. The market is more interested in iPods and iTunes and anything that might tarnish that makes them nervous.

The market is full of idiots! This company is on it's way to some huge growth over the next three years. They're opening two New stores a week, the intel transition is almost complete. They're selling more songs then MacDonalds is selling Burgers. And they've yet to announce a true Media Hub, the iPhone, and there touchscreen interface that will blow the whole industry away

I agree but many people think Apple will loose their market dominance with iTunes/iPod in the same way they lost the computer market to Microsoft. They are the closed system and they don't licence their software, blah blah blah. It's not strictly true but for whatever reason people see Microsoft as an open system and Apple as prone to being closed.

Why does AAPL dive on, apparently, the announcement of these new products?
What are investors looking for from Apple - that is, what should Apple have released to make everyone happy?
Thanks for your input.
You know what to do when apple's stock dives?? You buy, and buy and buy
