Power Adapter Backward Compatiability
I first thought no, but I'm not really sure.
Does anyone know if the 85W magsafe adapter will work with a MacBook.
I have a MacBookPro and just order a MacBook. I have an extra 85W adapter I keep in my nightstand to charge my laptop at night. I often gets emails in the middle of the night or early morning that I have to go on the computer for so I keep my laptop in my nighttand. Will he 85W adapter shift down to 60W if a macbook is plugged into it?
I had an iBook and the 65W adapter would work with it. I actually thought the iBook used a 65, not the 45 and used the 65 for a while. My girlfriend and I both had powerbooks so there were power adapters everywhere, I just used which one was free.
