Intel iMac memory into a MacBook...

... and vice versa?

Right, here's my thinking, I got my Intel iMac with 1Gb of memory and am thinking about bumping it up to 2Gb. However, with the new release of the delicious new MacBook I was thinking about whether it'd be possible to bump the 1Gb from the iMac into a standard config white MacBook (and sell the 512Mb or whatever) and buy a brand new 2Gb from Crucial (replace with favourite memory store) to stick in the iMac.

I checked Crucial's little memory advisor tool and the only difference is the part number, none of the specs are different. See below:

MacBook 2Gb

What do people think? Given that I wouldn't use the MacBook for games (well, World of Warcraft!) it should be ok with 1Gb. Just wondering whether anyone knew if you could swap them about like that...

Thanks!
