Why does AppleSpell think **** is spelled wrong?

Why does the AppleSpell on Mac OS X think **** is spelled wrong. It is showing up with that red dotted underline. I mean, it would be nice if **** would not have that. I could make it learn ****, but **** should already be known. Apple probably uses ****.
