how come i get pop-ups in omniweb?

everyone says they dont get pop-ups in omniweb, yet i do. is there something you have to activate or something to not get them anymore? please help me through...

    it is in the JavaScript preferences

    Preferences -> JavaScript -> scripts are allowed to open new windows only in response to a link being clicked



    This setting will kill popups but some sites that use JavaScript for navigation won't work correctly. The good news is that you can change your preferences back and forth on-the-fly without having to restart OmniWeb.

    Voxapps is right. I find that all sites I browse work fine with that option set to "only in response to a link being clicked."
