My kids have just entered a nostalgic phase and are hankering after the games they played when they were young such as Monkey Island 2 and Indiana jones and the fate of Atlantis. However, they dont seem to be available now to buy. Can anyone suggest where I might try ? I came across one copy of monkey island but it was on disks and I couldn't think of a way to transfer it to CD.

Thanks.

You should try checking Ebay for older games.

    You can find a good many older classic mac "abandonware" games at <a href="http://mac.the-underdogs.org/"; target="_blank">Macintosh Garden</a>, including <a href="http://mac.the-underdogs.org/index.php?show=game&id=95"; target="_blank">Monkey Island 2</a> and <a href="http://mac.the-underdogs.org/index.php?show=game&id=64"; target="_blank">Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade</a>.

I picked up an LCIII with an ethernet adapter for $30. I use it to read 800K Mac and IIgs disks to transfer all my great memories onto my current machine. An imation SuperDisk (no relation to the DVD SuperDrive) drive will read 1.44 MB floppies and 120 MB SuperDisks.
