export a clip from a imovie window to an other

Hi,

I have 3 footages from 3 video camera in 3 different imovie windows, I edited cut some clip in smaller clip but when i want to drag a clip from a i movie window to an other imovie window, it exports the whole clip instead of the 10 second clip I kept.

Meaning it takes for ever to export

Can you help me please?

    try copy pasting the segments you want, instead of dragging.. That is, select the clip you want to copy after editing it (or select using the anchor points on the previewer), then right click on the selection and copy, then go to the other window and press command-v
