Logic Board Question

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace a 12" iBook 800MHz G4 logic board with a 12" iBook 1.2GHz G4 logic board? My logic board crapped out on me and I'd like to be able to replace it with a new board with a faster processor.

    The answer is, it's very hard to tell if Apple has made any modifications to the design, you basically have to try and see.
