MacBook fan not working

I had my 5 days old MacBook shutting down unespectedly and randomly. I then installed Core Due Temp and found out that when temperature raises to 78°C (172,4°F) the machine shuts down. No fan noise. Never. Called Apple and did (more than) one hard reset. Nothing changed. Strangely it happened, in this 5 days, that in a couple of occasions, the fans worked. Why don't they always work? Time to send back the MacBook to Apple? Hope not!

I solved it!!! 3 Hard Reset (few seconds) one each other. 6 PRAM chimes didn't help!
