iMac update

Anybody figured out what the iMac update is on VersionTracker? Is it for all iMac's or just the new flat panels?

    It's for -- ready -- LCD iMacs running Mac OS X version 10.1.5, build 5T91 only. Pretty small slice of the pie actually.

    What's the deal with the different build numbers? I have an LCD iMac, running 10.1.5, but the build is different. Any particular reason? Does Apple change the upgrades without changing the version number? What's the deal?

    It means some iMacs weren't able to get the plain vanila 10.1.5 update because they were already shipped with 10.1.5, though a different build. These iMac shipped with build 5T91. Anybody with a completely upgraded iMac that didn't originally ship with 5T91 should have 5S66.
