10.4.x update?

This is probably a really stupid question, but is updating from 10.4.6 to 10.4.7 a free update online? I'm pretty sure you don't buy the update, its rather small. How do you update? I would guess its in the software updates on the mac but I don't have one yet (and 10.4.7 isnt out yet). Hopefully this question isn't too stupid. thanks for the help.

    Yes, it's a free update through Software Update.

    Make sure you are online, then just go to the little apple logo scroll down to software update, let the mac check with Apple. Then click on the update button(assuming there is anything to update)





    You can also use this feature to check on Apple produced products like itunes, iphoto, etc.
