    1) Download AMSTracker from here http://www.osxbook.com/book/bonus/chapter10/ams/



    2) Drag the unix executable to the Desktop



    3) Try this trivial script



    do shell script "~/Desktop/AMSTracker"



    it should return the x, y, and z coordinates of the MacBook.
