MagSafe power between an MB and an MBP

IIRC, the MagSafe power adapters on the MacBook and MacBook Pro are different. The MBP is 85w while the MB is 65w.

What does this means as far as swiping the two. Is it just that the battery will charge slower or faster for one than the other? I couldn't imagine that apple would have that if there was a risk of damaging components. I mean if they weren't compatible i would imagine that the adapter would be slightly different.

So, do i have to worry about using the wrong plug? Thanks

I read that the MB adapter will not charge the MBP while using processor hogging problem, like final cut, aperture, etc.

I use my MBP adapter on my MB all the time, no problem.

On another, more important, note ... standard in-flight power ports are restricted to 75 watts, so the 85 adapter will not work. I have used the 65W on my MBP though it works.
