evil mail.app :)

my mail.app is possesed! it just totally freaked. <img src="graemlins/surprised.gif" border="0" alt="[Surprised]" />



i was scrolling through some mail and then all of sudden it started scrolling by it itself and really fast too! once i quit out of the program it was ok but this was bizarre! :eek:



anyone ever have this happen? :eek:

    Silver is said to be proof against demons. Perhaps a new Quicksilver would help?

    Hmm.. I've had what 's happened to you happen to me once or twice, but it involved the mail.app hanging for five seconds or so while I was impatiently clicking on the down arrow. It moved "by itself." A ferw second sltater .

    yes it was probably just delayed actions being posted back to the application. There should be something that guards against that. Like a time limit for user events, that if they don't get posted to the Application in say a few seconds then they should be ignored.



    Although this could backfire on a system with heavy load, in which case you may never actually send the application any messages...
