Dell laptop exploeds into flames

We are ok as long as this doesn't happen with the MacBook.

    Ah.. the LG battery monster strikes again... I don't know why Dell people would laugh at Apple or the other way around since the hardware comes from the same seatshop.

    I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure I would laugh about Dell's or Apple's laptop batteries randomly bursting into flame.

    What's really bothering me is why would you take your laptop outside and photograph it melting to your patio instead of putting the damn fire out?



    Anyway, no matter the computer, exploding laptops are no laughing matter. Unless it happens to be Steve Ballmer using it at the time.



    You don't realise how dangerous these machines can be until things like this happen. I dream of a brighter, safer future when laptops are fuelled by hydrogen cells.

    Ahh it sounds like the 'HindenBook' all over again http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PowerBook_5300, for all those not with it. This reminds of that classic PowerBook.
