How many files does it take?

Alright everyone, Ive been to AppleInsider forums for quite sometime, as I have been a switcher for over a year and loving it. One question I wondered though, was how many files do people actually have on their harddisk? Kind of stupid, but fun to brag about I hope . Som Im listing my info, and my major apps since I have no clue on how to paste images. So here I go.

    You've had OS X for over a year and you only have 50,321 files?? Talk about minimalism. I have 449,764 files, 87,365 folders 40GB drive with 35GB used. I need to do some cleaning though. I reckon I'll get it down below 300,000.

    Capacity: (250 GB HD) 232.8GB

    Available: 31.9 GB

    I have to delete crap all the time because I keep addimg so much crap!!!!!!!!I need a bigger HDD!!!!



    With anyluck, by the end of fall, I will have a Macbook, to which I will add the biggest HDD availible in the formfactor at that time and 2 GB ram...woot!
