MBP and iMac Target Disk Mode problem
Hey Guys,
I am trying to do target disk mode for the first time with my new MBP, and when I go throught the steps outlined in the user's guide, my iMac G4 800 tells me I have connected something that has no volumes that can be read by OSX, then asks me to either Initialize, Eject, or Ignore, I chose to ignore on the first go around as I definitely do not want to initialize and erase the MBP, and then ejected on the second try. Any ideas as to what may be happening here?
Thanks in advance.

That is, restart the iMac and put it in target disk mode. Then you can use your MacBook to get at the iMac's hard drive and transfer files.

No idea, but try the other way around.
