can i upgrade my G5 CPU?

in Current Mac Hardware edited January 2014
i've recently noticed that powermacs have been droping in price, probably due to the new intels. i think this might be a good time to upgrade to a newer desktop. the G5 1.6 single CPU's seem to be a good price and would be a nice upgrade from my 450 G3. this is probably the one i'll go w/ but i was wondering, is it possible to slap in a newer G5 CPU? obviously i cant put in duals, but maybe a dual core, or at least a 2GHz? also, if it is possible, are there any special tools or training needed? i've built/upgraded my share of PCs and even my old G3, but the G5 seems to be a whole different world. anyone who can help me out, please let me know. thanks.
