Is safari still running under Rosetta for MacIntels? I thought I read on here a while back that Safari was running under Rosetta. It runs great for me but I was curious to what might be the hold up (they treat Safari like the red headed step child - no offense Sunilraman ) Yeah, I am just dragging you into this thread sooner rather than later.

I don't think safari has ever run under Rosetta. When Jobs demoed OS X running on X86 processors, he made note of how fast Safari was on that architecture.

I believe you can force Safari to run in Rosetta if you need it to work with PPC only plugins, but by default Safari is Intel native.

Safari runs natively unless you change it to run under Rosetta. The only reason I had to do that went away when Flip4Mac went universal.

Universal Flip4Mac has been in private beta for a while; furthermore, yesterday, there was a 24-hours-long download link available.
