Titanium-style enclosures....

In all the speculation, everyone seems to have forgotten the new Powermac enclosures that were held back when the Quicksilver G4s were released. I suspect we'll see speed bumped G4s with a new enclosure and new architecture that will smooth the way for G5s later this year. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

    A Ti enclosure might seem a little cold.

    All I can say is, if they don't release a dodecahedron, bye-bye Apple.



    I'm buying Wintel if it's just an octahedron.

    I read a rumor about it being white like the iBook.Maybe like the Ivory White on BMW Motorcycles.The shape being probably the same but wider and shorter.The dodacahedron myth sounds pretty cool.It could open from the back.like the original NeXT Cube / NeXT Computer,Inc..Will the

    O/S-X have Renderman from Pixar. Plus,the

    Raycer Graphics chip for Aqua?Or a built in C-Cube

    MPEG-4 chip on the motherboard.Dual CPU's at 1.6 Ghz is alot of power.With a minimum of 400 Mhz Bus .If the cpu has Rapid IO technology.I sure hope the casing is a super high tech design.Make the WinTel users salivate.It has to be awesome.The pics at <a href="http://www.theapplecollection.com"; target="_blank">www.theapplecollection.com</a> are pretty boring except for one G-5 Design.It is super cool.

    One of the two designs has two built-in fans on the front of the enclosure.But the Ti color on a plastic enclosure would be very futuristic.But my bet is they will not use it.

    Apple is 25 years old as of 2 days ago.....Isn't the 25th Anniverdary a Silver one? Or not.....
