Any of you fellow Mac-fans ever go for a run? If so, do you know of any heart rate monitor with Mac OS software (preferably OS X)?
The once I?ve been able to find on the internet only works with PeeCees.
TIA

So far as I know, none are available. Polar, Ciclosport, Nashbar, PowerTap, they're all PC based. You can always get Virtual PC and run what ever HRM program you want under that.
I use a Polar S-710 on my road bike with the cadence option. I have a Windows box specifically for the Polar Performance Software. However, someone is developing a mac version... but only for the older monitors that don't support infrared... and only for Mac OS 9.
I pretty much ended up with the same conclussion, and I'm going for Polar S410 or S610, and I'll see how it works under VPC too bad we can't get a mac version <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />
Too bad my Polar HRM is a model from the early 90s and does not have any of the modern connectivity features. It's still a useful tool, though.

PS for Thoth: How fun to see you in this thread. Not only are you professionally successful, you are also an athlete (presumably). As the old Romans used to say: mens sana in corpore sano.
