MacBook and USB: anybody with problems?

Whenever I connect a USB device even with its own DC input (I mean: no power drain from the USB port) the fan of my MacBook stops working. No PRAM or PMU reset is the solution; just unplug and remove the battery overnight can solve the problem... untill I reattach something to the USB. Seems a nightmare I already saw on olther iBooks...

BTW... the MB has already been changed...

    Good bye.

    And when you come back,

    1) use the Genius Bar forum instead

    2) don't post trollish replies to your own thread

    3) come up with a better description of your problem.

You're telling me you need a better description? What's missing in that description? As you can't post a "doubting" judgement against Apple this forum sounds everything but something democratic. Keep this forum for your pleasures... just asking myself since when in a forum a Senior Member is allowed to change the position of hreads. This should be matter of Moderators. Or maybe the problem is another... As it looks you have so much power inside here also delete my membership.

    GOOD BYE!

    Well let's see.

"Whenever I connect a USB device"

A specific one? Or have you tried several? What devices have you tried?

There's quite a lot of Apple criticism here. Rightly so. There's some fanboyish behaviour by some people, but hardly by everyone.

And no, this place isn't democratic. Guess what? Pretty much no Internet forum is. Democracy would mean for the members to elect moderators, for instance. Quite an administrative nightmare.
