Controlling fans?

Is there anyway to control my fans manually? I want them on full blast as I'm tired of burning my hand :-)

    Probably involves unloading some kernel extension. Not sure which one.

    It's my understanding that there is not. That's why they had to address the initial heat issued with a firmware update--that's the only way to alter the fans behavior. The Mac's "BIOS" equivalent is not user configurable like it is on most PC's.

    I'm hoping someone figures out how to undervolt the chips a bit and let me control the chip frequencies. If I could, I'd just set it to 1GHz and leave it there.
