The Road to Guantanamo
Has anyone seen the film? What do you think of it?
I'm in the process of transcribing it to prepare it for Chinese subtitles.
For those of you who haven't heard of it, The Road to Guantanamo is Michael Winterbottom's docu-recreation of the military arrest (in Afghanistan) and detainment (in Guantanamo Bay) of three twenty year-old British citizens of Pakistani origin (and the death of another).
Nothing surprising about the fascist actions of the US military (we all know it happened and is still happening that way), but you've got to admit those guys were really, really stupid for going where they went when they went there.
